It’s a good dog food but wasn’t for my new German Shepherd. He has food allergies so we had to switch to a different brand. Otherwise the price was about right and both dogs liked it.

This is a mixed review. It is good dog food for my adult Rhodesian Ridgeback however if you have a large dog, then you are better off buying the big bag because you go through these small bags in a few days. But when you can’t get out and need it fast this was a good option.

My vet recommended Purina Pro Plan Complete Essentials over a decade ago, and I’ve been using it ever since with good results. My dogs seem to really like it, and rotating between the different flavors keeps them interested. It is on the expensive side, but I feel the quality is worth the cost, especially since it lines up with other premium brands. After this many years with healthy, happy dogs, I’ve stayed confident in continuing with it.

Use this food as my breeder started him on it as a puppy. Good stools, will eat it with canned or alone. High on protein to keep him at a good body weight. Would definitely recommend
