This has been very effective in helping our 2 Labs lose some weight. Each started at about 90lbs and both have lost about 15lbs, so they are at their ideal weight. They both seem to like the flavor (they are Labs after all) and they haven’t had any stomach problems or diarrhea. It’s not the cheapest food out there, but it seems to be high quality and it’s very effective.

I have an old dog, 10 years old, and as you’d expect, he’s slowing down in his old age. I noticed that he was having a lot of trouble getting up and getting down from his raised dog bed. I knew I had to do something for him, and I was already familiar with Hill’s Science Diet food from my elderly cat being on a prescription formula before he passed.
I was looking for a food that would help with his joints, so when I found this food, and it had the added benefit of weight management, I knew I had to try it for him. My boy is pretty picky at times, so I was really nervous about if he’d like it or not, and I was so relieved when he LOVED it. I’ve never seen him so keen on his food before, so to have this really good food be the one he likes is such a blessing, especially at this price point. It’s also helped him slim down some, and with being an older dog he doesn’t always have the energy to get a sufficient amount to exercise. When it says “healthy weight,” it seems to mean it. Since getting him on this food, he’s stayed a consistent 55lbs, which is around an ideal weight range for his breeds. Before getting him on this food, and only feeding him grocery store foods, he’d gotten all the way up to 60lbs, so seeing him lose that little extra weight was great.
I know that this food is very expensive, my family and I have had to budget this food into our monthly expenses, but at least for us it has proved to be so very helpful. Seeing him get relief and gain so much energy because his joints aren’t bothering him so much? If it costs only $90 to see him this happy, we make it work. If anyone is on the fence, I HIGHLY recommend getting a smaller bag of this and at least trying it out, because for all you know it could be the ticket to getting relief for your pup.

This food is really good. After using this food, my dog is happier and his digestion is much better. Also, his hair is very shiny, but it has not affected his activity yet. Maybe the reason is that I have been using this food for 2 weeks, I hope That this matter will be better in near future. But in generally , I recommend this food. And price you pay for this food is really worth it because it is excellent in terms of quality.

This is a pretty nice product. It is palatable and appears to control weight. On the bad side it is ridiculously expensive, as is all dog food these days. SO the pricing is rip off, but so is all other dog food. Dogs are being turned over to rescue because owners cannot afford $80 a bag for dog food. High end dog food used to be $15 a bag.

Following the advice of our vet we have
been buying this food for the last number of months. At 12 years of age it has definitely helped in reducing her weight and improving her mobility…Inthe last couple of months,I haven’t found it necessary to help her stand up .I am confident that she is living comfortably with this food along with an over the counter “medicine” without forcing me to pay the vet about
$ 150.00 monthly for injections that are available..,but hardly affordable for me.
