On my 4th bag. I wanted salmon and rice. Not easy to find at this affordable price. I spent hours reading dog food labels before choosing this one. I supplement with very small amounts of sardines, tiny amounts of broccoli and/or carrots, etc. My dog is 15 lbs.

My lab has a chicken allergy and so I changed her dogfood to Nutrish salmon dog food. She loves it and her coat is so much better. I transitioned my other dogs to it as well and they love it. I have it on auto- ship so I never run out.

So I’ve given it about two months until I wrote this review because you never know how a dog will fully react to food right away… I’ve tried a bunch of different brands… I found out my Frenchie was allergic to chicken through trial and error he was having blood in his stool, so I switched to beef and the blood went away But it was still kind of runny and stinky and sometimes it would be slimy so that I found this stuff and night and day difference… His poop is solid and never runny and he loves eating it more than the other food. He actually gets excited and he doesn’t fart Hardly ever anymore which is crazy… And the best part his itching has stopped almost completely. Highly recommend but every dog is different.

My dog loves this food and eats it without any hesitation. The salmon formula seems to be easy on his stomach and his coat looks shinier and healthier since switching to it. The kibble size is good and it doesn’t have a strong smell like some other brands. It’s a great quality food for the price and I’ll definitely keep buying it.
